MONTEBELLO – Coach Camille Buckley has been around senior Sulika Ili long enough to know that she would eventually snap out of her shooting slump. She did Tuesday, but her efforts were not enough.

Ili scored 12 points in the Lancers’ tough loss to Cantwell on Tuesday in Montbello.

Ili and Morgan Rust, who scored 13 points, led the team in the absence of one of the team leaders, Lily Ramirez.

The team could not hold up against their rival and lost to them for their Senior Night.

The Lancers hope to win the last game of their season on Feb. 6 against Bishop Montgomery in the Carroll Center.
