LA PUENTE – Bishop Amat faculty and parents participated in the “Be The Match” bone marrow registry drive Thursday after school in Room 606.
The Bishop Amat Medical Club and science teacher Mrs. Diane Olin organized the event, which aims to match potential donors to leukemia patients in need of the marrow.
In order to register, volunteers filled out forms and swabbed the inside of their cheeks with a cotton swab. The swab then gets sent to be tested to see if they are potential donors.
