Bishop Amat’s Girls’ Soccer looks to make a run in the 2017 CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs after a successful 21-3 (8-0) record.

The Lancers soared through league play, scoring 34 goals in eight games.

The Lancers are led by super senior Stanford commit Sophia Serafin and sophomore Nayeli Diaz who, according to Maxpreps, are first and second in Division 3 for points, respectively (88 and 85). Serafin also leads Division 3 with 33 goals.

The team was awarded the top spot in the Division 3 bracket, where they will host North Torrance on Thursday. North Torrance won their wildcard game against Lancaster 9-0.

The Lancers are expected to make a strong push this postseason.
