The cheerleaders were cheering, the band was playing, ASB was lined up in a tunnel, all this to welcome the incoming freshman.
Their faces held many different emotions, some were excited, nervous, embarrassed, and relieved. They all felt differently but together they all walked in, deep inside eager for what the next four years will hold for them.

The class of 2020 had clear eyes on this morning walking into Bishop Amat on Aug. 17.

Bishop Amat welcomed 350 incoming Freshman, which is a rather low number in comparison to the previous classes the school has welcomed.

Throughout the day the freshman got to go to all of their classes, a rally, eat lunch provided by the school, and figure out how to use their lockers.

Freshman orientation is meant to prepare the students for how the next four years will operate, this day is important because it gives them a chance to learn everything before the other classes come roaming the halls again.

As the day came to an end, the tension and nervousness had eased and their faces showed that they were warming up to the idea of high school.
