Gleeks worldwide have been waiting for the fourth season of Glee to find out what happened to their favorite couple, Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) and Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith).
Season three’s finale left Gleeks yearning for more as Rachel left for the New York Academy of Theater Arts and as Finn joined the U.S. Army.
In “The Break Up,” Finn returns after leaving Rachel for four months. However, a now more mature Rachel feels that it is best for them to move on and live their lives separately.
Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) gets a surprise visit by Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss). But suspense builds up when Blaine admits that he had been seeing someone else while Kurt was in New York City too busy working for Vogue.com.
Santana Lopez (Naya Rivera) and Brittany S. Pierce (Heather Morris) also decided to break-up due to their long distance relationship. Although Brittany doesn’t think it’s a good idea, Santana on the other hand thinks it’s the mature thing to do.
Overall, the “The Break-Up” left many Gleeks in tears. With the return of some of the graduates from last season, Gleeks’ favorite couples dealt with relationship issues that ultimately lead them to breaking up. The break-ups were heart-breaking but at the same time, but were justified.
The moral of the episode was to teach teenagers that all their dreams may not may not go the way they planned out, making this episode a memorable one.
And that’s what you missed on Glee!
