Girls’ tennis takes on Bishop Montgomery for senior night

The Lady Lancers tennis lost to the Bishop Montgomery Knights 11-7 for their Senior Night on Oct. 24.
In the doubles match, Celeste Gonzalez and Ashley Hiti beat Bishop Montgomery’s No. 1 doubles team in a tie-breaker thriller, 7-6. Coach A.J. Seresinghe congratulated the girls as they competed for a league championship.
The next step for Jashia Nieblas, Gonzalez, and Hiti are the CIF championships that are taking place at iTennis on Oct. 28 and 30.
