Ruelas and Paez win their heats in Laguna Hills X-Country invite

LAGUNA HILLS — Senior Trinity Ruelas and sophomore Olivia Paez took home first place in their girls Division 1 races last Saturday at the Laguna Hills Invitational.
In the boys’ races, top finishers were Isaiah Hernandez who led the boys with a time of 16:43 in his Division 3 Race and junior Angel Arellano who finished in 16:53.
Rounding out the girls top five spots were freshman Morgan Rust, senior Ashley Garnica and sophomore Gabriella Rivera.
This Saturday both teams will be competing at the 2016 Woodbridge Classic located in Norco, CA at SilverLakes Sports Park.
