The second season of the hit reality show “Jersey Shore” has become a new fad at Bishop Amat.
Last Thursday the second season of the show came to an end but students still talk about the show as if it never ended.
The show revolves around eight roommates named The Situation, Angelina, JWoww, Snooki, Pauly D, Ronnie, Sammi, and Vinny.
“T-shirt time!,” said Nicky Casarez, “was one of the funniest moments in the show.”
“The Situation” introduces T-shirt Time to viewers when he takes off his tank top and puts on his shirt for the night. Before going out the guys wear their white tank tops, then it’s time for “T-shirt time” and they put on their favorite shirt to go out with.
“Now every time before I go out I have T-shirt time stuck in my head. I like to pretend I am one of them and say T-shirt time out loud,” said Casarez, “You’re not cool if you don’t say T-shirt time because it’s just fun to say and everyone should do it.”
Students like to watch the show because they wish they could experience some of the same things that the roommates encounter.
In this particular season the cast moved to Miami to spend the summer partying there.
“I have to admit I can’t wait for the third season to air,” said Lisa Villarreal, “I heard every one is coming back except for Angelina so I think it is going to be a good season.”
In the beginning of the second season Angelina surprises every one by coming back to the show after leaving early in the first season but then later leaves once after getting into a fight with Snooki.
The season ends with only seven of them but plenty of drama.
“I thought it was a really good season,” said Vanessa Dreyfus, “I didn’t know there was going to be a third season so I’m excited for that. This season was way better than the first one so now I’m hoping the third season is just as good or better.”
MTV is bringing the show back for its third season where most of the action will take place back in New Jersey.
