The Bishop Amat Girls Volleyball team is pushing well through their ongoing season with a current season record of 5-6 and look to rebound after a few tough losses.
The Lady Lancers started their volleyball season off great with a 3-set-win against Ontario Christian High School.
But things immediately got tough for the girls when they went head-to-head and lost against Chino Hills, South Hills, and Gabrielino High Schools.
However, at the Gladstone Varsity Tournament on September 25, the Lady Lancers were able to redeem themselves with 5 wins and only 1 loss.
The week that followed that day of victories was filled with wins against Mark Keppel, Diamond Ranch, and Monrovia High Schools.
In this month of October, the Lady Lancers lost a devastating 3 matches, but successfully fought for a win in a tough game against Mary Star of the Sea High School.
That game against Mary of the Sea was definitely rough, but when Coach Rick was asked who he thought was the team to beat, he mentioned La Salle High School
The team could not overcome a tough La Salle and lost to them in a tough match.
The Lady Lancers look to recover and win their last games of the season.
