Lady Lancers defeat St. Monica in straight sets
Hands in for the win!
The Lady Lancers volleyball defeated St. Monica in straight sets Thursday to give the girls their second straight victory to open league play.
The Lady Lancers dominated the first set, winning 25-8. The second set there was back and forth competition but the Lancers pulled through, 25-19. The last and final set there was a close competition but the Lancers pulled through and defeated St. Monica 25-23.
The team is now 4-4. Bishop Amat hosts Serra High School on Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Carroll Center.
